OVER THE COUNTER MEDICINE IS CHEAP
Listerine mouthwash works on nail fungus
Nail fungus is really difficult to get rid of without a prescription from a doctor. Lamisil is good, but you have to get checked monthly for liver problems.
Some say Vick's works. Probably not for fungus deep under the nail.
This is interesting because I did it. I had a nail infection that I cleared up with baking soda. I used it a couple of times a day and used a toothpick to push it under the nail and under the nail bed. even with that, it took about 8 months for it to work. You have to be dedicated to make it work. Good luck.
I WENT TO THE PODIATRIST FOR FIVE MINUTES, AND ALL HE SAID WAS TO USE VINEGAR. HE TOLD ME THAT ALL THE MEDICATIONS ARE BASICALLY THAT.ONCE A DAY, HE SAID IT COULD TAKE UP TO A YEAR, BUT THE KEY IS CONSISTENCY. HOPE THIS HELPS.
Lamisil is expensive but it's the only medicine that completely clears the thing up. It works through the blood-stream and although it is heavy on the liver it is only discoraged by doctors if you already have a liver problem. So if you are healthy you don't have to get checked at all.
There is no other permanent way….
