nope, you have to go to the doctor. i know this because one dayi noticed one of my toe nails was falling off and low and behold, i have toe nail fungus. i go to massage school, bare feet everywhere. used to go to the tanning bed, doubt they sanitized the floors much. i also got a pedicure over the summer, could have gotten it there. either way, the meds are really expensive. there IS a prescription nail polish, however, my doctor told me its not as effective as the oral [which i have to take everyday for 3 or most likely 6 months]. the oral kind is also expensive, but my insurance covers 80% so its only lke 20 bucks i think. good luck…
btw, wearing toe nail polish for long periods of time can cause toenail fungus
Try a soak containing calendula flower or tea tree oil.
