There’s one particular nail (see note) that reminds me of some ice cream thing.
How about a patriotic theme, to show the juxtaposition between American freedom, and the "iron" sense of order that works against freedom (but is very good at holding nails–aka society–together).
Spray painting 3 layers like this was very hard. I ruined one of my gaudy 0 "medical" running shoes with blue paint. And one of our cereal bowls apparently has blue fingerprints on it. I guess I ate cereal after one of my painting sessions. Grrr. Why must we suffer for our art? Hahaha.
P.S. after careful consideration, Clint decided red in front because its his favorite color and the most intense of all colors, blue in the middle because it’s complimentary to red (at least with subtractive colors) and would create the most busy visual interference if right next to the red, and white in the back because it is the most boring, as well as the brightest — and will be less likely to overshadow the other colors with its brightness if it is in the back.

Holy crap, though. I’ve been doing my nails for a year. I have been super crap at documenting it, but I’ve been painting my nails something that isn’t just a solid colour every single week (minus once or twice).
